The James L. and Mary Maher Scholarship Fund

For Immediate Release

Jim and Mary Maher were parents of a person with disabilities. In large part, the programs and services that the James L. Maher Center provides today are the result of their life-long advocacy toward enhancing and enriching the lives of individuals with developmental or physical disabilities.

The James L. and Mary Maher Scholarship Fund was established to recognize outstanding students who throughout their high school careers have contributed to improving the lives of individuals within their community.

Applications and more specific details are available through guidance officers at Rogers, Middletown and Portsmouth High Schools. Completed applications must be received by April 13, 2012.
