Annual Christmas Caroling in Bristol

Second Annual Bristol Workshop Christmas Sing Along

On December 12th, the Second Annual Bristol Workshop Christmas Sing Along took place at the James L. Maher Center. The program was led by Eileen Jeanes Jachna (vocalist) accompanied by Christa Mortrude on the piano.

It didn't take very long for smiling faces and singing voices to fill the room with songs like "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Silent Night" in sign.

Betsy Brownell told Eileen, "We had a lot of trouble deciding what to give you today so we decided to make special ornaments." Jill Neubauer added, "My favorite song was "Oh, Holy Night."

Jason Jackson had this to offer, "The concert was fun. I enjoyed ringing the bells." Frank Siembab showed his appreciation by saying, "I want to thank those two ladies that came in today to sing all those Christmas songs. They did a good job." Bristol folks enjoyed cookies, hot chocolate and a great time!

After wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas, handmade ornaments were presented to Eileen and Christa in appreciation of the concert. We are all already looking forward to having Eileen return in February next year for a classical piano concert...perhaps one with a Valentine's Day theme.
