Peter F. Saunders

Peter Saunders is a retired math teacher from the Newport School Department. He joined the Board in 1990 and served as vice-president before becoming President of the Board in March of 1997. He serves on the Personnel, Finance & Audit Committee, Scholarship Committee and Golf Committee.

Peter has been active over the years in Church, Fraternal and Civic organizations. He has been President of the Board of the Newport Columbian Credit Union since 1978. He and his wife Dianna have been married since 1964 and have two children and two grandchildren.
