John S. Dugan Jr.

Maher Center Board Member

John S. Dugan Jr. was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1988 by Jim Maher Sr., for whom he had worked for many years. He serves on the following committees: Strategic Planning, Personnel and Finance, Scholarship, Chaves Golf Tournament and is also the publisher of the " Enterprise" newsletter.

John was the founder and president of "From The Heart, Inc.", which raised money for the Maher Center and other local charitable organizations.

John was born and raised in Newport, and is the owner of Aquidneck Waste Consultants.
